Cedefix is an informational tool that compares possible routes for swapping or moving crypto assets. It does not sell assets, hold funds or execute transactions on a user's behalf.
What a route represents
A route is a sequence of providers and networks that may include centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges, wallets, swaps and bridges. Each visible step is presented separately so the complete path can be reviewed.
Data collection and freshness
Cedefix uses public provider data, configured APIs and network sources. Each quote or route can have a different update time. Stale, unavailable or unverified fields are treated as missing data, not as zero cost.
Estimated cost
When data is available, estimated cost can include the quoted price, spread, purchase or trading fees, withdrawal fees, network fees, bridge fees and slippage. Values are normalized to a common currency where a reliable conversion is available.
Time and route complexity
Time estimates can combine provider processing times, network confirmation times and bridge or swap estimates. Route complexity is shown through the number and type of operational steps rather than hidden inside one score.
Confidence, KYC and availability
Confidence signals summarize data freshness, coverage and consistency. KYC, governance and regional availability information is indicative and may change without notice at the provider's discretion.
Limitations
Quotes are not guaranteed. Slippage, liquidity, congestion, location, payment method, account limits and taxes can change the final outcome. Always verify the final price and terms directly with every provider before transacting.
